1. Who we are

Ammare ("we", "us", "our") is a human systems consulting and community building organization based in Bucharest, Romania. We operate under the brand name Ammare and can be reached at contact@ammarecommunity.com.

Our website is ammarecommunity.com. References to "you" or "client" refer to any individual or organization that uses our website or engages our services.

2. Our services

Ammare provides organizational consulting, facilitation, learning design, community building, and related services. Our offerings include but are not limited to:

The specific scope, deliverables, timeline, and fees for each engagement are agreed upon in a separate service agreement or proposal before work begins.

3. Engagement and contracts

No binding engagement exists until both parties have agreed to a written proposal or service agreement. Our initial calls and consultations are exploratory and do not constitute a contractual commitment by either party.

Each engagement is governed by the specific terms outlined in the relevant proposal or agreement, which takes precedence over these general Terms of Service where there is any conflict.

We reserve the right to decline any engagement at our discretion, and to propose modifications to scope or approach before confirming work.

4. Payment terms

Payment terms are specified in each individual service agreement. General terms that apply unless otherwise agreed:

In the event of payment disputes, both parties agree to first attempt resolution through good-faith communication before pursuing formal remedies.

5. Intellectual property

Ammare's methodology and materials: All frameworks, tools, methodologies, training materials, and processes developed by Ammare remain the intellectual property of Ammare. Clients receive a license to use deliverables within their own organization for the purposes specified in the engagement, but may not resell, redistribute, or sub-license them without our written consent.

Client materials: All materials, data, and information provided by clients remain the property of the client. We use client materials only for the purposes of delivering the agreed services.

Joint work: Where work is developed collaboratively, ownership of jointly created materials will be specified in the relevant service agreement. In the absence of such specification, joint work is owned equally by both parties.

6. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to treat as confidential any proprietary or sensitive information shared during the course of an engagement — including but not limited to business strategies, organizational dynamics, personnel matters, financial information, and client lists.

7. Data and privacy

We collect and process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is available at ammarecommunity.com/privacy.

In the context of service delivery, we may process personal data about your employees or stakeholders as a data processor acting on your instructions. In such cases, the specific data processing arrangements will be set out in the service agreement.

We take data protection seriously and apply appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect all personal data we handle.

8. Limitation of liability

Ammare's services are advisory and facilitative in nature. We work alongside your organization to build human systems and organizational capacity — but the outcomes of that work depend on many factors, including the commitment and actions of your team, organizational context, and external conditions beyond our control.

We do not guarantee specific outcomes, and our liability for any loss or damage arising from our services is limited to the fees paid for the specific engagement in question.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate an engagement by providing written notice as specified in the relevant service agreement. In the absence of specific terms:

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Romania. Any disputes arising from these terms or from an engagement with Ammare will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Bucharest, Romania, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

For ongoing engagements, changes to these general terms do not affect the specific terms agreed in your service agreement, unless both parties agree in writing.
